1. Properties:

It is white powder, density 2.75, moisture absorptive, not soluble in alcohol, slightly soluble in water, decomposed in alkali solution, producing fluorides and silicon dioxide, decomposed into sodium fluoride and silicon tetra-fluoride when heated at 300℃.

2. Uses:

As cream coloring agent of glass and ceramic, antiseptic of wood, agricultural insecticide, moisture absorbing agent for acid-resistant cement, freezing agent for acid-resistant daub, fluorination treatment for drinking water.

氟硅酸钠为白色粉末，密度2.75，有吸湿性，不溶于醇，微溶于水，在碱液中分解，生成氟化物及二氧化硅，灼热300℃以上分解成氟化钠和四氟化硅。

用于玻璃和搪瓷的乳白剂，木材防腐剂，农业杀虫剂、耐酸水泥的吸湿剂、耐酸胶泥的凝固剂，饮用水的氟化处理等。
