Properties: Clear,colorless,flammable liquid,with mild ammonia-like odor.m.p.-61œC, b.p.152.8œC, flash point 57.7œC, refractive index 1.427-1.429,density (20œC) 0.9487g/ml,miscible with water,ether,ester,katon,chlorinated hydrocarbon and benzene hydrocarbon,hygroscopic.

Application: DMF is an important organic material and good solvent.It is used as solvent for man-made leather and chemical fiber,also used as material for synthesis of insecticide of high-effectiveness and low-toxicity,as gas absorbent to separate and purify the gas in petrochemical industry,as material of sulfadiazine,cortisone and Vitamin B6 in pharmaceutical industry,and also as fixing agent in vapor-phase analysis.

Packing and Storage: 200L plastic drums or steel drums(within coating). Tightly closed to store,prevent from leaking,avoid rain,sunlight,strictly forbid striking and rubbing,far from fire and heat source,stored in cool and vent places.
